Classic Quotes by Sandra Bullock and Jesse James about their relationship:
"So basically through a courtship of letters... I learned about a human being. It was not something I wanted, needed, or looked for, but because he was a stronger person than I was, spiritually and on a tolerance level, I was lucky enough that he educated me...I always thought of marriage as a death sentence, that there'd be a ball and chain, and you'd be told, 'You need to stop doing these things and become a good little wife.' Now people say 'Oh my God you're going to have sex with one person the rest of your life!' I hope I have sex with him for the rest of my life, because I like it!" Sandra Bullock
"Thankfully I married someone who loves me just the way I am and all the nuttiness that goes into me. As long as he reads his four newspapers in the morning and drinks one French-press coffee. He has to get through those things before he can handle me. I also know what I need to handle him. My greatest joy is making our home what it's supposed to be. Being a good wife, a good stepmom, a good current wife to the ex-wife. We're a family. No matter how crazy our home is, does he walk in at the end of each day glad to be home?" Sandra Bullock 3/1/2009
"By not making it high profile. Take your mariage and wedding out of your business. We have a strict rule. Home, family and kids are first priority." Sandra Bullock
"I haven't had children biologically. I had shut that off. Then I met Jesse, and it turned on again. I was like, 'Oh, that's that feeling.'" Sandra Bullock 2/2009
"I feel sexiest when the person I love wakes up next to me and looks at me with love, even if my hair looks like the dogs have been chewing on it." Sandra Bullock 2/2009
"I have children, amazing children. My love and want for their future and their happiness, for their homework to be done and for them to know how smart and beautiful they are is no less than if I'd had a child of my own." Sandra Bullock 3/2009
"I've had to learn a hard lesson in that I'm not allowed to open car doors anymore. It was so hard for me to allow someone to take care of me. It's not because I can't take care of myself. But Jesse was like, 'Just let me do this.'" Sandra Bullock 5/8/2009
"You don't have to give birth to someone to have a family. I'm not going to spend two seconds of my life wishing I had something I don't...I just want people to admit that there's no one way to live your life." Sandra Bullock 5/8/2009
"I didn't have a teenage or early-'20s experience that was free and without worry. I missed the screw-everything, have-a-good-time phase. I was worried that if I didn't stay on track and work, work, work, I was never going to accomplish anything. Now I'm trying to have fun and have the freedom to do nothing." Sandra Bullock 5/8/2009
"I took my godson to visit his company, West Coast Choppers. I had an image of an obese guy with a handlebar mustache." Sandra Bullock 6/3/2009
"I think most of us are raised with preconceived notions of the choices we're supposed to make. We waste so much time making decisions based on someone else's idea of our happiness, what will make you a good citizen or a good wife or daughter or actress. Nobody says, 'Just be happy. Go be a cobbler or go live with goats.'" Sandra Bullock 6/3/2009
"I was never the kind of girl who said, 'One day, I am going to be a beautiful bride, and I am going to have a family.' I wanted to work and support myself and make my parents proud. All I did was work. I did three or four films a year, and felt like I was on a treadmill. Finally I said, 'Nothing is exciting to me anymore.' So I took six months off, which turned into a year, and said, 'God, I don't miss it.' That's when all kinds of interesting things crossed my path." Sandra Bullock 6/3/2009

"It's awesome. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to support my wife and her work. She does it all the time for me. She goes to Mexico, to the desert, to the hospital - a lot - to support me and my work. The least I can do is put on a suit and support her." Jesse James 3/7/2010
