Photos: How to Upload Photos

Unfortunately, we don't currently have the functionality to allow our contributors to directly upload photos, but we are working on it and hope to have it soon. In the mean time, if you send us a copy of your photo(s) we will upload it for you.

Please email your celebrity photos to us

Note: The submission of photos does not guarantee that they will be uploaded and displayed. They must meet or exceed the following guidelines:

1. Each photo must be free of all copyright and trademark restrictions.
2. Each photo file name should be clearly labeled with the celebrity’s name.
3. Each photo should be at least 150 px wide by 300 px tall.
4. The ideal photo is 275 px wide by 400 px tall.
5. Each photo file should be less that 3 Mb.
6. The photo should be a good likeness of the celebrity - i.e. not blurry, not from far away, etc.
7. The celebrity should NOT be wearing sunglasses.
8. Again, the photo cannot have any watermarks or labels of other web sites on it.

Corrections: Wrong, Incorrect, or Missing Celebrity Information

We apologize for any misinformation on Famous Hookups. We try our best to verify all information that gets added to the website by our contributors, but as you can imagine, the task is daunting. Our best defense against bad information is the constant vigilance of our online community members such as you.

But if you see any information on Famous Hookups that is incorrect, or if you know some facts about any celebrities that we don't have on Famous Hookup, please create a (free) account, and correct and/or add the missing information.

If you don't want to create an account (even though we will never spam you or sell your email address to anyone), you can with all of the celebrity details.

How to Add a Celebrity

Before you add a celebrity, you must search for the celebrity first by entering the celebrity's name in the Search box at the top of any page.

Once you are certain the celebrity is not already in our database, click the link on the search results page that says, (Click Here to Add a New Celebrity).

IMPORTANT: A celebrity must have a profile on Wikipedia.org or be specifically and clearly named on another celebrity's Wikipedia page in order to be considered famous enough for Famous Hookups

Why Celebrity Submissions Get Rejected

The most common reason that a celebrity submission gets rejected is because the person is not famous enough to be considered a celebrity.

A celebrity must have a profile on Wikipedia.org in order to be considered famous enough for Famous Hookups.

NOTE: Sometimes we make mistakes and reject celebrity submissions even though the person has a legitimate profile on Wikipedia.org. If that is the case, please and point out our mistake.

How to Add an Article / Headline

Anyone can add an article / headline to the front page.

To do so:

1. Click the Submit an Article in the upper right corner of the Articles section.
2. Fill in all the required information. (Be sure to check out the Helpful Hints on the right side of the page.)
3. Click the 'Submit an Article' button in order to save your article.

IMPORTANT: The article must be celebrity relationship news, and it must have a reference URL from a reputable source like People.com or TMZ.com - NOT someone's Facebook or MySpace page.

Questions About Celebrities / Requests to Meet Celebrities

Unfortunately, we do NOT have any actual celebrities' contact information. So we CANNOT help you meet and/or contact any celebrities.

BUT some of our friends on our Famous Hookups Facebook page (www.facebook.com/FamousHookupsWebsite) might know the celebrity information you are looking for, so definitely ask your questions there.
